Alyson Hodson
director of client services and communicator extraordinaire
A founding partner and the director of client services at zag creative group inc., Alyson leads all client initiatives, lending over 10 years of experience to directing client accounts and strengthening both client and supplier relationships. In addition, Alyson is responsible for building new business, media planning and providing strategic direction, both internally and externally.
Throughout her career, Alyson has lead on a variety of high profile and complex accounts including the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, ProCura Real Estate Services Limited, Edmonton Oilers, Crystal Glass Canada, Synergy Projects Ltd., David Aplin Recruiting and Caritas Hospitals Foundation Lottery.
Alyson began her career over a decade ago in the marketing and advertising industry as part of the marketing team for West Edmonton Mall. She also managed client accounts with Sightline Design, p40 Communications and g[squared] before branching out on her own in the advertising world.
Alyson holds a management degree in marketing from the University of Lethbridge and is involved with a number of Boards. She sits on the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce Board, the Board of the Downtown Business Association where she Co-chairs the Marketing Committee, Chairs the Marketing Committee for the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit and has served as the Director of Media Relations for the Rotary Club of Edmonton Urban Spirits Board of Directors. In her spare time, Alyson is dedicated to helping the City of Edmonton remain one of the best cities to live and work in to ensure that young entrepreneurs remain in the city to help it prosper.

Trina Danis
creative director and creator of awesome
For the past 12 years Trina has been honing her craft in the publishing, corporate and advertising sectors. Throughout her career, Trina has progressed from Production Artist to Creative Director.
Trina is a professional member (CGD) of The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC), Canada’s national, professional graphic design association. As part of her involvement with the organization, she currently serves on her chapter’s Executive Board as Membership Chair.
Trina has worked with hundreds of clients and thousands of projects ranging from the development of integrated brand identities to annual reports and a multitude of sales pieces and advertisements. Though her design accomplishments are many, Trina is particularly proud of the work she has done for clients such as Finning (Canada), the Mikisew Group of Companies, City of Edmonton and The Alberta School of Retailing (formerly known as CIRAS).

Jamie Kelln
director of strategic development and devil’s advocate
As the director of strategic development for zag creative group inc., Jamie is responsible for overseeing the development of zag’s strategic planning initiatives as well as the development of all communications materials, both creative and technical. When she’s not thinking, planning and calculating, she’s formulating ideas into workable recommendations.
Throughout her career, Jamie has lead on the development of dozens of in-depth and fully integrated plans for clients such as Finning (Canada), Inland Concrete, the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and The Good Samaritan Society in addition to numerous campaign concepts and marketing materials.
Beginning her agency career as an Account Coordinator and transitioning to Communications Manager and then to a lead strategist role, Jamie has an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of both the development and the implementation of marketing strategies.
At zag creative group inc. Jamie brings over 12 years of agency experience, her hard working nature and collaborative attitude to every project she undertakes.

Ronda Nedelec
director of business development and relationship cultivator
Ronda brings over 20 years of experience to her role as director of business development.
Born in Edmonton, Ronda started her first entrepreneurial venture within the construction industry at the age of 23 and grew the business to over $1 million dollars in its first year. She then moved on to help manage and operate an award winning outdoor billboard company that was ultimately purchased by Mediacom (now CBS Outdoor). From there, she joined a young advertising agency and during her 10.5 year tenure, helped grow the company from a few staff to over 20 and hundreds of clients as the director of new business. She also assisted in managing the firm, client services, account coordination as well as strategic development. During that time, she also co-owned Best Buds Flower Co. in Oliver Square. As well, Ronda supported her husband and business partner with the launch and ongoing support of their company, Living Sounds Hearing Centre.
As their four kids are now young adults, she has more time to get involved in the community she loves so much. Ronda was an active member in the Edmonton Executives Association (EEA) for over 10 years served as President and was involved in many committees. Ronda currently sits on two Boards that support and nurture kids which are very near and dear to her heart. She is currently the Director and Chair, Brand Strategy for Kids Up Front Edmonton as well as a Director and Chair of Communications Committee for Ronald McDonald House Northern Alberta.
